This is B and I’s second visit to Skaggs, and a first for some of the group.
Of the Missouri caves I’ve been in; skaggs has a fairly favorable misery-to-reward ratio. There are plenty of passages that can be walked freely, and the mud isn’t too bad. The bootpack along the ‘main path’ is easy to follow; certainly easier to navigate than Perkins.
We were down there for 4-5 hours.
